The Need

Enrollment Growth Pressures at ADM High School: ADM has experienced significant enrollment growth the past several years, and projections indicate that enrollment will continue to increase for the foreseeable future. The district has proactively managed enrollment growth pressures through the construction of additions at all buildings in 2014 and 2015 and the construction of Meadow View Elementary in 2021. However, ADM High School has and will continue to face increasingly difficult capacity and programming challenges as enrollment continues to climb.

Aging Facilities: Additionally, ADM has several facilities that are aging and require attention to address outdated mechanical and HVAC systems, dated and worn finishes, and other updates needed to maintain a 21st century learning environment for students.

Three Priority Needs: After an extensive review of ADM's current facilities and future enrollment projections, the 2022-23 Facility Master Planning Committee identified the following three priority facility needs. The following three priorities are addressed by the projects on the ballot for the November 7 bond vote.

November 7, 2023 - ADM Community Schools residents will vote on a $58 million bond issue to complete four projects in the district’s 10-year facility master plan. A "YES" vote of 60% is required for the measure to pass.
