OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue)

The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is a user-friendly web-based search facility that enables students, faculty members, researchers, and staff to access the Central Library's bibliographic database anytime within the campus network. OPAC helps users quickly locate books and other library resources by searching through various access points such as title, author, subject, keyword, publisher, accession number, and ISBN.

The system provides real-time information on the availability and current status of library materials, including whether an item is available, issued, or reserved. It also displays essential bibliographic details such as call number, edition, publication information, and location within the library, making it easier for users to identify and retrieve the required resources.

By providing fast and accurate access to the library collection, OPAC enhances information discovery, saves users' time, and supports effective teaching, learning, research, and academic excellence.
