LDE - Leadership Development Event
These events are hosted during the fall semester, and consist of contests that strengthen communication skills, leadership skills, presentation, and ultimately help students form soft skills that will benefit them even after they leave the classroom.
CDE - Career Development Event
These events are hosted during the spring semester, and consist of contests that reinforce concepts taught in the classroom, such as animal management, meat science, land judging, farm business management, etc. Ultimately these events help students attain experience in potential ag science careers.Â
SDE - Speaking Development Event
These events help students work on their communication and public speaking skills, and are typically hosted in the late spring.
