About Us
One of the goals of Ateneo de Iloilo-SMCS as stated in its 5-year Strategic Plan for SY2016-2021 is to provide a contextualized K-12 Curriculum that develops and enhances learners’ skills to be college, career and life ready. To achieve this goal, the School has outlined specific strategies and one of which is to develop the learner’s 21st century skills by maximizing the use and integration of multimedia and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in learning experiences. Hence, the LITe (Learning Innovations though Technology) program was formed with the mandate of initiating and assisting in the integration of the available technology of the School (iPad carts, Mac laboratory, computer laboratories, and other educational apps) in the classroom.

The core members of the LITe program are teachers who teach ICT subjects. Point persons from other programs or subject areas have been requested to join the team and share both their academic and technical skills to ensure a smooth integration of educational apps in classroom instructions.
