Instructions for Reviewers
Reviewers for The Adelphi Advocate are asked to evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:
Addresses a subject matter that is of importance to the field of social work
Is original in thought and/or research
Makes an important contribution to the knowledge base of social workers
Is relevant to the mission of the Journal of The Advocate Social Work
Remains clear in its focus
Is written at a sufficiently high level for publication
Accomplishes the goals and/or intentions the author sets
Uses Relevant and/or contemporary literature
Is reasonable in length
Has clearly interpretable tables and figures
Provides an adequate rationale for the study
Presents a clear conceptual model or framework to support the research study
Adequately reviews the current literature
Presents clear and concise research questions or aims
Clearly documents in sufficient detail the methodological procedures used
