The Ignatian Youth Camp is a transformative program for young Jesuit-trained individuals aged 16-22 from Jesuit schools, universities, and parishes of the Philippine Province of the Society of Jesus. Through recreational, spiritual, educational, social and leadership activities, it fosters personal growth, self-confidence, social skills, independence, teamwork, leadership, and resilience.
The camp commences with Ignatian Experiments, providing an immersive experience of the religious, cultural, social, and environmental aspects of the Jesuits’ Mindanao mission. Participants will engage in prayer, reflection sessions, community building, nature exploration, and creative expressions to foster a deeper understanding of Ignatian spirituality. Key elements encompass vocational discernment, cultivating a relationship with Jesus, finding God in all things, reflection, and a steadfast commitment to service and justice. Furthermore, the Ignatian Youth Camp aims to build a strong network of young individuals shaped by Ignatian Spirituality, fostering connections and relationships that extend beyond the camp experience.
Join us for the 2nd Ignatian Youth Camp, a program organized by the Senior High School of Ateneo de Davao University. Taking place from April 6-10, 2024, at the SHS campus in Bangkal, Davao City, this camp promises an enriching experience filled with spiritual growth and meaningful connections.
