Naturally Literate is a booklet made to inspire people of all ages to get to know their natural environment just a little bit better. For each category of animals and plants, Vermont naturalists have provided a list of 10-20 species they believe a naturally literate should be able to identify and name. My hope is that by recognizing and naming local plants and animals, people will feel more connected to their part of the world
