The purpose of today's question is to generate questions to use for research.
1. Pre-search: It's difficult to write a research question when you don't know much about your topic. For that reason, we will begin by watching two short video clips.
2. Question Formulation Technique: You will work with your group to generate questions about your topic. Please follow instructions.
3. Using questions to generate keywords: Once you have a question, what do you do with it?
4. If time allows, we will begin researching our questions. Don't forget to use the Research Note-Catcher to record citations, links and notes.
Adams 12 Digital Literacy Standards:
CCSS ELA-Literacy W.9-10.7: Conduct short as well as more sustained research projects to answer a question (including a self-generated question) or solve a problem; narrow or broaden the inquiry when appropriate; synthesize multiple sources on the subject, demonstrating understanding of the subject under investigation.
