General Updates/Announcements

• NHS Meetings: Typically 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month from 7:05-7:35 am in the Little Theater at Northglenn High School 

• Meetings: Are all on the Schoology Page, Make sure to subscribe to NHS calendar so you do not miss anything 

• Announcements: ALL meeting notes, information and upcoming activity updates are communicated through the club's Schoology Classroom Page 

• Please email your sponsor if you do not have access to in the Schoology NHS Classroom page

NHS Membership Hour Requirements

• 1 Year Member (joined NHS as a senior): Complete 100 Service Hours

• 2 Year Member (joined NHS as a junior): Complete 125 Service Hours

• 3 Year Member (joined NHS as a sophomore): Complete 150 Service Hours

• All members must complete 10 NHS activities per school year that they are a member (at least 5 of those need to be in the 2nd semester)

Interested in Becoming a Member?

Do I Qualify? To be eligible to apply, students must:

• Be a sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of induction.

• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher.

• Earn at least 5 Carnegie units per year.

What Happens If I Qualify?

• Eligible students will receive an invitation to apply for NHS in the first quarter.

• Your invitation will tell you where to find the application and how to complete it.

• You will have at least one week to submit your application.

• A complete application must be submitted by the deadline to be considered for membership.

Important: Meeting the eligibility requirements means you are eligible to apply; it does not automatically guarantee membership.
