Abbie Traynor
Theatre Director
Abbie is a recent graduate from University of Northern Colorado with her B.A. in K-12 Theatre Education. She is so thrilled to be joining Northglenn High School for her first year teaching. This past summer, she worked as a teaching artist at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities and made theatre with a variety of ages. Theatre is her passion and she cannot wait to spark the same passion in her students at Northglenn.
Holli Greening
Costume Designer
This is Holli's 8th year doing the costumes at Northglenn High School and her 6th year as club co-sponsor! She studied Theatre with an emphasis in Technical Theatre at Adams State University. She loves everything involved with fiber arts, but especially found a love with sewing and crochet, leading to a path in costume design. This year she took on a new job as one of the secretaries in the main office at Northglenn. Holli loves the community that theatre provides and all of the opportunities that being involved in it bring out of the students who join. As a graduate of Northglenn High School and a member of Troupe 822, she is excited to help guide the next generation of theatre friends!
Amy Murillo
Housing Manager, Business Manager
This is Amy Murillo’s eleventh year as an educator and her third year helping the Northglenn Drama Department. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Education from UNC in 2013 and her Master’s degree in Literacy Education from CU at Denver in 2021. Theatre is a constant source of joy in her life and she thoroughly enjoys creating amazing productions. She has been involved in Drama since middle school and even participated in Northglenn High School productions when she was a student herself.She looks forward to continuing her work with the Northglenn Drama Troupe #822 and knows you will love all our productions!
