Dear Mountain View Families,
Can you believe we're already 2/3 of the way through this school year?!
As we move into a new month at Mountain View, we're filled with gratitude for our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Each day, our classrooms are buzzing with curiosity, creativity, and growth. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure every child feels safe, valued, and challenged to reach their full potential. Together, we are building not just strong learners, but a strong community. We're proud of the work happening here and look forward to all the month of March will bring!
With gratitude,
Peggy Heath Laura Spratt

LEADERSHIP: BUILD CONNECTIONS
This month, your child will continue to explore leadership by building connections. Part of being a leader is creating connections among people, and keeping those connections going. Feeling connected is important for our overall well-being. Maintaining social connections or friendships with people helps us not only during fun times, but also during challenging times.
Connections can also help us navigate disagreements more constructively. We are all not always going to agree with each other 100%. If we have a strong, underlying connection with someone, it can help us handle disagreements and differing points of view with less conflict and more curiosity.
As your child takes the lead in building connections, it can foster their maturity, support, self-discovery, and help them build relationship skills.

Mountain View's Resource Pantry is in need of snack donations. High-need items include Belvita, Veggie Sticks, applesauce pouches, Cheez-its, Goldfish, granola bars, & fig bars.
Please send your donation to the front office with a note marking it "snack closet". Thank you for your help!
If your family is in need of emergency food or resources, please email Apryl Delclos at Mountain View at del022859@adams12.org

Reminder: please do not bring valuables and toys to school. This includes fidgets and stuffed animals. Any student who needs a fidget tool will be provided one by the school. Having extra toys and valuables here at school creates problems with items being lost, stolen, or broken and also causes students to distract themselves and others from learning. Of course, our classes sometimes have special days when students are allowed to bring in a favorite toy, game, or stuffed animal, so please wait for those special days. Thank you.
