MERGE was born out of the idea of 2 students in 2019. Ali Driggers and Brayden Chiles didn't see a need to be connected with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). They didn't want a club that was exclusive to either Christians or athletes. The FCA organization didn't really provide any support to Legacy.  Instead, Ali and Brayden wanted a club where conversations around faith could be more interactive and fun for both those curious about faith and those who already have a personal Christian faith. Our club leadership now includes senior Xander Hawkins and senior Owen Bacon who continue the tradition of recent years.
