Fundraising Philosophy

Our choir is made up of some of the most dedicated and talented students in our school. We are committed to giving them opportunities that challenge, inspire, and reward their hard work. With the support of the Horizon community, we can provide experiences that enrich their academic, social, and musical growth.

To make this possible, we rely on additional funding through a series of fundraising events held throughout the year. While the financial support is important, the impact of these events goes far beyond dollars raised. Fundraising builds awareness of our program, strengthens community connections, and gives our students the chance to showcase their talent, commitment, and leadership.

Each year, our choir hosts at least three major fundraisers—one in the fall, one in the winter, and one in the spring.  All proceeds go directly into our choir’s general account to support student opportunities, program needs, and special events.

We ask that every choir family participate in these efforts. While it may take some time and sacrifice, the results are always worth it: our students benefit directly, our program grows stronger, and our community sees firsthand the value of investing in young people who will be tomorrow’s leaders.
