Amber Freeman has been teaching in the Family and Consumer Sciences department at Legacy since 2005. She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from Colorado State University in 2004. She became a national board certified teacher in Career and Technical Education in 2012. In 2014 she earned her Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Project Management from Aspen University. Amber teaches Culinary Essentials I, Culinary Essentials II, Child Development, and Fashion Design. Amber is one of the advisers for the club, FCCLA. She grew up outside of Chicago and has been living in Colorado since 2000. She has been married since 2010 to her husband Nate, and has two daughters, Blakelee who was born in 2015 and Bailee who was born in 2019.
