When is it?

April 24th, hence the name FOUR 24’s. We are turning 4/24 into THE DEFINITIVE DAY to be "vape free" and "national turn-in your vape day" from here on out!

Will I get in trouble for turning in a vape?

NO. This is a punishment free day to bring a vape to school and turn it in

What if I want to turn in a "cart?"

   Unfortunately, please don't turn in carts or bring these to school as that is illegal to be in     possession of on school grounds. You may just throw those away on your own. However, please share your desire to quit or turn in with one of our Student Ambassadors or Mr. Wimmer for more support!

Where do I turn in my vape(s) on 4/24?

In the cafeteria, all periods of the day, there will be a booth setup

What if I make it 24 hours without vaping? 

You will earn a “white” bracelet. Your next goal will be to make it 24 days to earn a “purple” bracelet, then 24 weeks to earn a “red” bracelet, then the remainder of 2024 to earn a “black” bracelet

How will they know if I stayed “vape free?”

Honor code. As well as having your name taken down the day of by the Student Ambassadors

What if I turn in a vape before April 24th?

Your name will be taken by Mr. Wimmer and you will be given incentives on 4/24

What if I get caught vaping on April 24th?

You will be punished per district policies

What if I don’t feel comfortable turning a vape in to a teacher?

Student Ambassadors will be wearing FOUR 24’s shirts and will be able to accept vapes

What if I have more than 1 vape to turn in?

You are more than welcome and encouraged to turn in as many as possible. However, you will only receive 1 incentive package

How many incentives will I receive if I turn in a vape?

Depending on how many other students turned in a vape that day, there will be a variety of incentives available pending a spin on a prize wheel as supplies are limited. The REAL incentive is your own sobriety and punishment free possession and disposal of a vape

What will happen to my vape when I turn it in?

It will be taken directly to Vape Aware and disposed of properly
