I grew up in Colorado. I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors Degree. Then I moved to Wilmington, North Carolina and received my Masters in Teaching in Science. I took many Marine Science classes while in North Carolina, as my first love is Marine Biology. I have one kid and many animals! I spend most my time running around with my son.

I taught one year in North Carolina and then I came to Legacy and I have been here since 2007. I have been fortunate enough to be an AP Biology reader since 2016 which means I grade the exams.
