Coloradoans in areas recently impacted by wildfire need a way to anticipate and prevent landslides from further impacting the land and ecology because the landscape has been compromised in a manner that leads to vulnerability to further damage.

Earth has changed over time.

Identify evidence from patterns in rock formations and fossils in rock layers to support an explanation for changes in a landscape over time.

A variety of hazards result from the natural process; humans cannot eliminate natural hazards but can reduce their impacts’ effect.
