Kode Ransom is a prominent historian, cultural educator, and community builder from North Tulsa known as the "Greenwood Griot," who is dedicated to preserving and sharing the legacy of Black Wall Street.

He is the owner of Black Wall Street Liquid Lounge and the force behind the "Greenwood Griot" physical location, which hosts various community events and promotes local Black businesses.
Mr. Ransom is an artist who uses mixed-media music, poetry, and spoken word to educate about Black history. His project, 1921… The Black Wall Street Music Project, was created to honor the legacy of the area.
He has been featured in documentaries such as Dreamland: The Burning of Black Wall Street and has received a Hollywood Music in Media Award nomination for his spoken-word piece "Oklahoma Made".
