Welcome Back!

Welcome back! 🎉 I missed you, 7th grade! 

I’m very happy to have the honor of teaching you for a second time. 

This year will have some similarities from last year, we will have bell ringers, grammar, discussions, writing, vocabulary, reading, & analysis. However, this year everything will be at a higher level. Not to mention, we’ll be adding a few new skills, like giving writing argumentative essays, reading dystopian novels, and much more. 

As always, remember that I am here to help in anyway you need. Always ask questions when you have them & reach out when you need to. Let’s make this a great year! 😊

I’m very happy to have the honor of teaching you all the ins and outs of reading, writing, vocabulary, speaking, grammar, discussion, analysis, and much more.

During this semester, I hope to create a safe, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable to share their ideas, learn, and have fun. 

All objectives, assignments, and lessons will be aligned with the state standards AND posted on our Google Classroom site. Always remember that I am here to help and to always ask questions when you have them.

Hello, Readers. Welcome to Reading 6! 📚  

I’m very excited to begin teaching you all of the ins and outs of reading.

This semester we will be reading, reading, and more reading. So, push away any negative ideas or feelings you might have about books and reading, because they will not be useful in this class. 😊 

In this class, we will be doing everything from Daily Reading Reviews, to reading fluency, to reading novels of your choice! I'll show you just how fun reading can be. 📚
