Hey y'all! My name is Samantha Kaste. I am originally from Goldsboro, North Carolina. I attended college at St. Andrew's University in Laurinburg, North Carolina. I played four years of collegiate soccer on a scholarship. I graduated from St. Andrews with a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in mathematics. I received my Master's in Differentiated Instruction through Concordia University in St. Paul. This is my 13th year teaching. I have taught 1st Grade for 5 years and this will be my 8th year in 4th grade/5th Grade. I have completely fallen in love with Ada and the community! In my free time, I love to go for walks with my dog and spend time with my family. I was really nervous about moving to Minnesota from my home state but my husband is originally from Ada and assured me how amazing the people here are. My son Colt was born on January 31st of 2020. He was born with Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele. I had a daughter born on September 15, 2021 named Skyler.
I am happy to say Minnesota has won me over and now I am a HUGE Vikings and Twins fan!
I am excited about this school year and my amazing new group of kiddos.
