Dr. Vagelis Chatzistavros, Ph.D.

Short Bio

I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and serve as the Chair of the School of Science & Technology at Anatolia American University - U.L.E.

I hold a Dipl., a MSc and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace. My doctoral research focused specifically on wireless and sensor networks. 

Following my PhD, I continued my research in collaboration with the Schools of Environmental Engineering and Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Crete. Additionally, I have contributed to various EU-funded research projects as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).

My teaching portfolio spans a wide range of topics within Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics, such as Calculus, Statistics, Digital Systems and Circuits, Computer Networks, Digital Literacy and Business Data Management.
