Research & Professional Achievements
My research interest focuses on childhood autism, child and adolescent mental health, early intervention, and emotional intelligence. More broadly, my work explores psychological wellbeing across developmental, educational, and organizational contexts.
Alongside my academic role, I actively contribute to applied settings through the design and coordination of parenting groups across educational and community contexts in both the UK and Greece. These groups focus on strengthening parent–child relationships, supporting emotional development, and translating evidence-based principles from developmental psychology into practical, accessible interventions for families.
As part of my doctoral research at City University London, I led a multi-year research project investigating childhood autism in the UK and Greece. The project explored developmental trajectories of children with autism and examined the relationship between intervention contexts and developmental outcomes. This research combined empirical data collection with clinical perspectives and contributed to a broader understanding of autism within different cultural and service frameworks.
