Assistant Professor of Psychology School of Humanities & Social Sciences
Short Bio
I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology where I have been teaching at Anatolia American University since 2016. I hold a BSc in Psychology from the University of Crete, an MSc in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from City University London, and a PhD in Health Sciences from the same institution, focusing on cross-national perspectives in childhood autism.
I have also completed specialist training in Infant Mental Health and Parent–Infant Psychotherapy at the School of Infant Mental Health and have clinical experience working in early intervention settings, including the Parent–Infant Clinic in London.
My research and clinical interests focus on childhood autism, child and infant mental health, early intervention, and emotional development, with an emphasis on developmental trajectories and therapeutic contexts. In parallel with my academic role, I have also held clinical and training roles in the UK and Greece., working with children, infants, and families, and I coordinate parenting groups across educational and community settings.
