First Grade 

Hello! My name is Ms. Pearly Bonilla, I began my teaching career 13 years ago at Manila, Philippines where I was born and raised. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a Major of Special Education and a Master's degree of Special Education. I taught Kindergarten to third grade regular, self-contained and inclusion classes. 

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Sra. Pearly Bonilla, comencé mi carrera docente hace 11 años en Manila, Filipinas, donde nací y crecí. Tengo una licenciatura en Educación Primaria con mención en Educación Especial y una maestría en Educación Especial. Impartí clases regulares, autónomas y de inclusión desde Kindergarten hasta tercer grado. 

Hello! My name is Ms. Cortez. I am a warm, kind and enthusiastic teacher who believes that every student has something special to contribute. Growing up in South Florida with a Central American background has given me an appreciation for diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences. I strive to create a welcoming classroom where every student feels valued, supported, and excited to learn.

Hola! Mi nombre Ms. Cortez. Soy una maestra cálida, amable y entusiasta que cree que cada estudiante tiene algo especial que aportar. Haber crecido en el sur de la Florida con raíces centroamericanas me ha brindado un profundo aprecio por la diversidad de culturas, perspectivas y experiencias. Me esfuerzo por crear un salón de clases acogedor donde cada estudiante se sienta valorado, apoyado y entusiasmado por aprender.

Hello! My name is Ms. Requejado. I was born and raised here in Miami, FL to Cuban parents. I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish and this will be my third year as a teacher. My priority in life is spreading kindness and having empathy towards others. I hope to make a positive impact in the lives of your children this year.

Hola! Mi nombre es la Sra. Requejado. Nací y crecí aquí en Miami, Florida, y soy hija de padres cubanos. Hablo inglés y español con fluidez, y este será mi tercer año como maestra.

Mi prioridad en la vida es promover la amabilidad y actuar siempre con empatía hacia los demás. Espero tener un impacto positivo en la vida de sus hijos durante este año escolar.

Hello families! My name is Aneicy Gonzalez, and I’m so excited to be your child’s first grade teacher this year! I was born and raised right here in beautiful Miami, Florida, and I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida International University (FIU).

Teaching young learners is my passion, and I can’t wait to watch your children grow, explore, and discover new things every day. Together, we’ll build a fun, safe, and engaging classroom where curiosity and creativity thrive. I’m thrilled to start this amazing journey with you and your children this year!

¡Hola familias! Mi nombre es Aneicy Gonzalez y estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de primer grado de sus hijos este año. Nací y crecí aquí mismo, en la hermosa ciudad de Miami, Florida, y obtuve mi título de Licenciatura en Biología de la Universidad Internacional de Florida (FIU).

Enseñar a los niños pequeños es mi pasión, y no puedo esperar para ver cómo sus hijos crecen, exploran y descubren cosas nuevas cada día.
