2026/2027 ACSMS Absence Notification Form
Please complete this form within 3 days of the student's return to school to help school officials determine the excused/unexcused status of the absence(s). Please attach any necessary documentation to this form. Three or more consecutive absences require a doctor's note or other official documentation to excuse the absences.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Sanchez, your teacher for Math, Science, and Social Studies. It's a privilege to be part of the ACSMAS Third Grade team and a member of the Tigers Family!
I completed a Master's degree in Psychological Development of Childhood and Adolescence. Teaching is my absolute passion! With over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, including four years of dedicated service at ACSMS.
One of my primary goals is to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. I derive immense joy from motivating my students to think critically, unleash their creativity, and actively participate in designing and building their understanding of the world.
I bet your child is exceptional!

Welcome to 3rd grade! I am Ms. Guevara and I am looking forward to be your Math Teacher for this school year. This will be my second year being part of AcadeMir Charter School of Math and Science. I got my Bachelor's Degree in Science with a Major in Chemistry (2006) and a Teaching Certification of the State of Florida (2023).
This year will be filled with opportunities for learning, growth, and fun. Together, we will work to support your child's academic success, social development and love for learning.

I've received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, and a Masters Degree in Reading and Language Development. I'm looking forward to a great school year with your child.
Welcome to 3rd grade!
My name is Ms. Gorosito and I will be your Language Arts teacher. Reading and taking nature walks are one of my favorite hobbies. My favorite foods include Italian and Mexican food, and my favorite snack is chocolate :) One of my favorite colors is light blue. I look forward for a successful year full of learning!
