After School Arts (ASA) is a program at Claxton that provides a variety of enrichment classes taught by local artists, leaders, & staff! All students are welcome as we hope to inspire a love and passion for art in all of its forms!

Registration for After School Arts Classes
Registration for the Winter 2026 session will occur from Sunday, December 14th at 5:00pm through Saturday, December 20th at 5:00pm.

SIGN UP FOR CLASSES
To register for a class:
1. Follow the SignUpGenius link and find the class you want: You can quickly see which classes are available, how many spots are left, and select your desired class.
2. Easy Enrollment: Simply enter your name and email to register. You’ll see your confirmation in real-time and receive an immediate email from Signup Genius confirming your enrollment.
After registration, Ashley Wayne will email you a Google Form to gather any necessary student information before the session begins. This is also where you can request a scholarship, if needed.
PAY FOR CLASSES
Payment:
After you register for classes, please be sure to click the payment link below to complete your enrollment. Before making a payment, double-check that you received an email confirmation from SignUpGenius—this confirms your child’s spot in the class.

Please complete the form below to be added to the wait list. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you with next steps prior to the beginning of the session.

Program Catalog and Schedule
This is a tentative schedule (dependent on weather and instructor attendance).
We will be in touch with families as soon as possible if there are any changes!
The classes run each day from 2:45-4:00.
Daily Routines, Snack, and Dismissal Policies
Snack: We will provide snack for the students at each weekly session free of primary allergens such as peanuts and tree nuts. We will do our best to meet the dietary needs of each student, but if you know your child has additional needs that restrict what they are able to eat, such as braces, gluten-free, vegan, etc., we recommend that you send them in with a back up snack just in case!
Dismissal Policies: At 4:00, please park your car and walk up to the front door to pick up your child. It is important that we honor the time of our instructors and ensure that they are leaving by 4:15 pm each day. In order to do this, students MUST be picked up by 4:15 pm at the latest. We understand that unexpected things happen and there will be necessary moments of flexibility, but if late pick up becomes a consistent issue, we will enforce the following policy: families will be charged $1 for every minute past 4:15pm until their child is picked up to pay for the time and supervision of the instructor.
