Professional Learning Communities/Grade Level Planning:
PLCs meetings are weekly on Thursdays during their grade level planning time.
Do not schedule other meetings during PLC time.
Meetings need to start as close to the beginning of the scheduled time as possible.

The team implements robust data protocols.
Reflective teammates.
Utilization of a long-term PLC/Grade Level Instructional Planning calendar.
Achieves Tier 1 goals frequently; Tier 1 goals are based on grade-level standards, and we will continue to work on making them rigorous.
Academic growth is evident across all tiers.
Collaboration is strong during and outside of weekly scheduled PLC time.
Roles are clear, and team members are committed to the responsibilities of their position.
A member of the grade level team facilitates the PLC.
Voices are respected and heard.
Data collection is timely and targeted - people show up with their data.

The focus is NOT about what was taught, but about what was learned.
Conversations stem from the Data 2.0 protocol.
Students are allowed to reflect on their data.
PLC time is considered planning time, and the participants focus on planning solid, rigorous instruction that meets all students’ needs.
