WHAT WE DO

• Support the education of students at AHS and SILSA by fostering relationships among the school, parents and teachers. All parents or guardians of students at the school, both principals and all teachers are members of the PTO.
• Hold meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 in the Alumni Center. All are invited to attend!
• Coordinate Open Houses where parents and teachers can meet informally each semester
• Organize monthly teacher appreciation events and the Holiday and Spring Luncheons for all AHS/SILSA teachers and staff
• Organize holiday gift card raffle for all teachers and staff
• Hold the Stay at Home Fundraiser every year
• Distribute grants to teachers to support education in the classroom
• Purchase and distribute supplies for teachers
• Contribute to & support student events like Prom & Senior Breakfast
