Greeting
Introduce yourself (name, school, grade)
List your academic status
State your interest for academics and athletics at that school

Paragraph 2:

Name events
Event PRs, Stats, etc.
Any big awards you have won/accomplishments
What you enjoy the most / your strength
State why you want to compete at the next level

Paragraph 3:

State why this specific school is a good fit for you
What connections do you have to the school
Closing with a “Thank you for your time...I hope to be in touch soon...My other contact information is listed below…” / or anything else that leaves the letter on a positive note that anticipates further conversation

WHAT IS AN OFFICIAL VISIT?

A visit financed in whole or in part by an institution.
AN ATHLETE CAN HAVE 5 OFFICIAL VISITS
ATHLETE must be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Official visit cannot exceed 48 hours.

WHAT IS AN UNOFFICIAL VISIT?

Athletes can take an unlimited amount. They can occur anytime except for Dead Periods.
Start during your freshman year.
No time limit or length restriction on stay.
Colleges can’t pay for lodging, travel or meals.
