WHAT IS AN OFFICIAL VISIT?
A visit financed in whole or in part by an institution.
AN ATHLETE CAN HAVE 5 OFFICIAL VISITS
ATHLETE must be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Official visit cannot exceed 48 hours.
WHAT IS AN UNOFFICIAL VISIT?
Athletes can take an unlimited amount. They can occur anytime except for Dead Periods.
Start during your freshman year.
No time limit or length restriction on stay.
Colleges can’t pay for lodging, travel or meals.
