Testing

The DLT and Media Specialists provided district-wide and building-based support for the state's roll out of computer based testing.

Site based : The Media and Technology team organized computer-based testing across the AHS and SILSA campuses. The team provided teachers and students with stress-free technical support and problem solving. The team also assured teachers that their job was to prepare students for the test and not worry about the technical aspects of the testing environment. The team furnished all the equipment needed to administer the tests to all the students in a timely and organized manner.

Testing Resources This year, over 20,000 test items for a wide range subjects were created for teachers to use. The technology and media team organized and created an extensive question bank for teachers to use to measure student progress. Teachers were trained in how to leverage technology to quickly create and administer assessments for their classes.
