Bowling

Bowling is a skill based sport focuses on general fitness, movement and targeting skills, and it also develops motor skills such as coordination and balance. Apart from increasing mental alertness, bowling offers a myriad of health and social benefits.

.

At ACS (Barker) Bowling, our bowling family consists of our bowlers, coaches, teachers and parents. The guidance and support that we receive from our coaches, teaches and parents, continue to encourage us and compete with perseverance and tenacity. Although some of our Secondary One bowlers come in with no experience in competitions, the experience of our coaches and the support of the seniors, enable the juniors to compete with hunger and passion. This has resulted in an impressive performance by our C Division in past years' National School Games.

Apart from striving to achieve excellence during competitions, we also place much emphasis on our Values-In-Action Program. Our bowlers not only work closely with community groups but the experience also focuses on character development and values.
