This camp helps our new Scouts adapt to our unique CCA as well as to familiarise them with their seniors and the traditions of the ACS (Barker) Scout Group. They will also be taught the skills necessary to earn them their first progress badge, the World Scout Badge.
During the camp, they will be taught the skills necessary to earn them their various progress badges, and they will participate in team building activities to build camaraderie with their fellow patrol members.

The Standard First Aid + AED Course conducted for all Scouts provides an overview of common emergencies and equips all scouts to be able to use correct management strategies during such emergencies.
The Bonding Day marks the end of the Scouting year for our troop by fulfilling the Young Environmental Badge Program and also a chance for fellow scouts/ventures to get just together and have fun.
The annual venture development camp puts the scouting skills acquired over the years into practice, earning them the coveted venture scarf.
A student-initiated Values-In-Action (VIA) project that works with the community, and impacting the school through awareness education.
