How do I change my Chromebook sign in password?

Steps to change password on the Chromebook

Student iCON email address (@students.edu.sg) and password is required before proceeding.

The device won't turn on.

  1. Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the Chromebook and to an active AC power source.

  2. Make sure the battery charging status indicator is lighted.

  3. Charge the battery for at least 10 minutes.

  4. Perform a hard reset by pressing the Refresh and Power buttons at the same time.

  5. If the problem has not been resolved, contact the Contractor’s helpdesk or school-based support for assistance.

The device freezes or won't respond.

Chrome OS is missing or damaged.
