The ACS Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a volunteer organization committed to fostering a sense of community within our school.

We organize and support events and initiatives throughout the year — from International Day to Staff Appreciation to Used Book Sales — to bring folks together and celebrate our wonderful community.

We invite you to learn more about our efforts, and join in supporting our students and school.

The Viper Club is a volunteer-driven booster organization directly supports the programs of the ACS Athletics and Activities Office, which include High School and Middle School athletics, fine arts, academic games, forensics, and Elementary athletic teams.

The Viper Club mission is to inspire school spirit and enhance all ACS athletic, academic, and fine arts activities.

Room Parents/Parent Liaisons are parent volunteers who serve as a bridge between our parents and our school.

At the Elementary School Level each classroom has at least one home room parent that communicates with fellow parents and organizes classroom celebrations (e.g. birthdays, holidays, etc.)

In Middle and High School, Parent Liaisons are selected in the Spring by each divisional principal to help organize grade level celebrations and social events for parents. Grade 6 to Grade 11 have two (2) Parent Liaisons per grade level, while Grade 12 has three (3).

The American Community School of Abu Dhabi is governed by a parent-led Board of Trustees.

Eight of the Trustees are elected for two-year terms by the ACS Parent Teacher Association and three are selected to fill in certain skill requirements. The President of the PTA, the Superintendent and a US Ambassador appointed representative from the Embassy are non-voting members of the Board of Trustees.
