Problem: CAN'T ZOOM IN

1. Solution:  Hit the [Home] key!

Can't draw with tablet pen

1. Button press on pen puts into erase mode. Press button again for draw mode.

When you draw everything else turns lighter coloured.

1. You have moved beyond the frame of the previous drawing.  If you started on frame 0, then the entire drawing needs to continue on frame 0. Explanation: previous frames are "onion skinned" so that you can see them.

Can't change colour:

1. Click the "Pin" button next to the colour selector on top left menu bar

Can only see shades of grey in 3D window

1. Viewport shading to "Material Preview" (not "Solid")

Setting "Paint Mode" to "Color Attribute" doesnt' seem to work

Will only draw circles!

1. Turn off "Guides" (top row near "Origin")

Can't adjust colours?

1. Make sure you are in "Vertex Color" and not "Material"!

Pink layer shows up when I email my drawing?

1. It's outlining your background image.  You need to "pack" it.  File ->External Data -> Pack Resources

Grease pencil layers not showing in timeline?

1. Go to 'Scene Collection' (top right) and ensure you are on 'Stroke'

When you advance frames and draw, it does not create a new keyframe

1. Need to enable "auto keying" - small circle button on very bottom middle

Change origin point of an object

1. ensure it's on it's own layer and is separate from any other objects (can use "P" key to separate in Edit mode)

2. Go to Object mode

3. move the mouse where you want the 3D cursor to be and then:  [Shift][RMB]  *note that you will NOT be able to see the 3D cursor

4. in Object Mode, select from the top menu: "Object" -> "Set Origin" -> "Origin to 3D cursor"
