The Membership Year is September 1 to August 31. 

There are two ways to join the Chapter.

• • • Eligibility Requirements apply for ACRL National Members seeking Free Chapter membership:

      • ​I am a member-in-good-standing with ACRL National.

      • I live, work or attend a school in New England.

      • I have a current personal membership with ACRL.

      • I am able to provide a valid ALA Personal Member ID Number for ACRL National Member of New England verification purposes.

    • Chapter Members receive reduced pricing for the annual conference and other regional conferences.

    • Targeted programs are offered throughout the year organized by one of our nine active special interest groups 

    • Attend the Annual Chapter Conference (Takes place annually each May or June.)

    • The Chapter offers professional development scholarships and a best paper award.​

• Membership pricing

  • ​ACRL National Member of New England (working/living/going to school in New England)  FREE

  • Librarian Member: $20.00

  • Paraprofessional: $10.00

  • Student: $5.00

  • Retiree: $10.00

• Payments received during the current membership year assures membership through August 31st of that calendar year.

• Membership dues received from renewing members during the membership renewal period beginning in August apply to the next membership year.

• Payment for Local Chapter Membership dues is submitted by credit/debit card via the Membership Eventbrite Registration Form.
