The International Association of School Nurses & Health Promotion (ISNA), the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), and the Spanish Scientific Association of Nursing and School Health (ACEESE), with the support of the General Council of Official Nursing Associations of Spain (CGE), the College of Nursing of Murcia and Murcia Tourism Convention Bureau are honored to invite you to the SNI 2027 Conference, under the title: “School nurses and their key role in leading school health services,” which will take place from July 11 to 16, 2027, at the UCAM Jeronimo's campus in the beautiful city of Murcia, Spain.
This biennial event, conceived and promoted by School Nurses International (SNI), aims to strengthen the role of school nurses, foster the creation of new collaborative networks, and build stronger connections between school nurses and school health leaders at a global level.
Over the course of five days, the conference will bring together school nurses, community and family nurses, pediatric nurses, as well as other professionals involved in the care of the educational community, such as speech therapists, psychologists, pediatricians, and specialists in emotional, mental, and holistic health during childhood and adolescence. This meeting will be the ideal place for reflection, dialogue, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
Among the topics to be addressed are included: practices in school nursing, the design and implementation of new health education programs, innovative projects in child and adolescent care, and advances in policies recognizing and integrating school nurses into educational institutions. The positive impact of the work of all school nurses and school health professionals on the physical, emotional, social, and mental well-being of the school community will be highlighted.
Without a doubt, the SNI 2027 Conference will be much more than an academic event: it will be an opportunity to continue building professional connections, share knowledge, identify common challenges, and generate synergies that will drive the advancement of school nursing in all contexts, internationally.
Health education is a safe bet: it is an investment that is essential in both the short and long term to improve the health status of society. There is nothing more transformative than being part of the change through prevention, health promotion, and health education.
We look forward to welcoming you in...
