LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS
The RFHS Local Scholarship site is designed to provide 2023 seniors with easy access to available scholarships offered by local area organizations. The site will be updated as new information is available. Seniors and parents are encouraged to return to this site frequently for updated scholarship information.
Mark your calendars for the Class of 2023 Award Ceremony that will be held in the Martha Luigi Auditorium on Monday, April 24, 2023, beginning at 5:30 p.m. (More information will be shared in early April.)
Seniors: A Scholarship Workshop may be held at the high school (date TBD) to provide seniors with helpful guidance on submitting a presentable application packet. CBCF General Scholarship Application for Graduating Seniors
Eligibility: Coastal Bend Community Foundation (CBCF) General Scholarship Application for graduating seniors in our 7-county service area is now available. CBCF has a number of scholarship funds that are very specific in their eligibility requirements. Read all scholarship information carefully and provide all documents requested.
Click on the CBC Foundation links above for information on the Coastal Bend Community Foundation scholarships available. All students, regardless of academic performance, financial need, or community involvement, are encouraged to provide all required and encouraged documents (Transcript, SAT/ACT, FAFSA SAR, Letters of Recommendation) so that they can be considered for the maximum number of scholarships that they may qualify for. There is not a required level of income for any of the scholarships and the minimum SAT/ACT score requirement for those that take them into consideration is relatively low.

ARANSAS COUNTY AREA GO TEXAN SCHOLARSHIP
Aransas Co AGT Scholarship Application
Eligibility: All students are eligible to apply. Academic and Technical scholaarships awarded to 4-year university, Junior College, or technical/trade school. In-state or out-of-state. No minimum GPA or test scores. The only requirement is the desire to further education and/or establish a career. Students can only apply to one Area Go Texan organization. If you are picked for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Scholarship and the local Aransas County Area Go Texan scholarship, you will forfeit the local ACAGT scholarship, and it will be awarded to another student.

LULAC NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
LULAC National Scholarship Info and Application
Eligibility: Will award scholarships to qualified Latino students; Must be a US citizen, legal permanent resident, or be granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA); Must have applied to or be enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university, including 2-year colleges, or vocational schools that lead to an Associate's Degree; A student will not be eligible for a scholarship if he/she is related to a scholarship committee member, the Council President, or an individual contributor to the local funds of the Council.
