Dear Parent/Guardians

I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to welcome you and your child to ACORN Community High School. In addition, I want to express my excitement about working with you for the new school year 2019-2020 and beyond.

As a school, one of our goals is for you to maintain a good partnership with us, and I hope you will be able to participate as much as possible. Some of the areas you can participate in are the Parent Teachers Association, School Leadership Team, Parent Advisory Council and other committees. If you are unable to take part in any of these activities here at the school, please ask another family member to represent you. In that way you will always know what is going on here at ACORN.

In order to stay aware of what takes place here at ACORN please ensure your contact information is always current and updated. Our means of communication is through phone master messenger, email, text , our facebook page ACORNPTA and via mail.

In-coming 9th grader you will receive login information for your NYC Schools Account and PupilPath, as soon as possible. Sign up for school up-dates at www.gov/notifynyc or text nycschools to 877-877 to receive text messages throughout the year.
