Do you have an EHCP? Age 16-25?
A supported internship is an unpaid work-based study programme. It’ll help you take the first step from education into the workplace while gaining the skills you need to get a paid job.
We have been running the supported internship at Amazon in Weybridge, Surrey, since September 2025. This is an exciting new partnership between Amazon, Surrey County Council, DFN Project SEARCH, and Ambitious College.
This study programme is for young people aged 18–25 who have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan and want to move into paid employment with extra support.
Interns are based at the Amazon site five days a week, taking part in workplace rotations, learning through feedback, and building the skills and confidence needed for adulthood and employment.

We’re excited to invite you to our Open Evening Referral Event on Tuesday, January 20th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Our classroom curriculum
The independent living and employability skills we help develop
