At AFBHS we have over 15 student clubs and organizations including Step Team, Speech and Debate, and Brothers in Leadership. Students can even start their own student group. Scholars are able to showcase their talents in our monthly Community Meetings and through sports.

The AFBHS GSA exists to provide a safe welcoming space for all students to learn more about and discuss LGBTQ issues.
AFBHS Soul Steppers: Strives to create a community where artistic expression belongs to everyone seeking personal growth through the art of Step.
Brothers in Leadership: BIL is a male specific club, intended to foster leadership skills and promote ownership and contribution to the school community by the young men of AFBHS.
Circle of Sisters: COS' purpose is to empower our identified young women through sisterhood, education, and civic engagement.
Dungeons and Dragons: Develops collaborative storytelling, teamwork, and other creative skills through the game Dungeons and Dragons. Students are able to build a story together that builds their sense of agency and autonomy while requiring compromise from everyone involved.
Creative Writing Club: Brings out the many hidden writing talents that young scholars have in this school. The goal of writing club is to have a chance to write freely without any CFS and get some of the students published.
Anime Club: The club introduces students to anime and promote a better understanding of the anime community and Japanese culture.
Wellness + Fitness Squad: Advocates and conducts physical fitness and Zumba classes for students.
Card Fight Club: Provide a safe and welcoming space for scholars interested in learning or mastering trading and collectible card games. Scholars will have the opportunity to play, discuss, and develop strategies for their favorite games or explore new ones.
Speech & Debate: Speech and debate provides students an opportunity to develop skills in research, critical thinking, organization, persuasion and communication.
AF Brooklyn High students are also dedicated to helping their neighbors and community through community service projects and events!
Our goal is to ensure that our community meetings promote positive relationships between faculty and students, instills a sense of pride in being an AFBHS Panther.
