Achievement First Brooklyn High is focused on an important goal: 100% of students will be accepted into four-year colleges and universities.

How do we get there? We combine challenging courses and high expectations. We also make sure our students have access to all of the support that their wealthy and private school peers receive. Our support includes SAT prep, intensive college counseling and tutoring. Our classes help our students grow into leaders who not only listen to lessons, but also lead discussions and exchange ideas. Here, our students also grow as athletes, volunteers, leaders, and citizens of the world. We are proud of our school’s strong extracurricular, varsity athletic and arts programs (including speech & debate). Our support extends beyond high school graduation, with high school counselors working closely with our alumni as they attend colleges including SUNY schools, CUNY schools, Syracuse University, Stanford University, Williams College, St. John’s University, Howard University, and many more.
