Faith in Transition -- Gender Identity for 2026 and Beyond" - Erin Russ, She/They
This workshop will look at three questions:
Where are all the Transgender/Gender Nonconforming (T/GNC) people?
Why don't we see them in our churches?
How can we serve our T/GNC siblings?
Using current demographic and experiential information we will
First, define the T/GNC community
Then, we will talk about why so many Christians facing gender identity struggles leave the church and never come back
Finally, we will discuss ways to serve and support our T/GNC siblings
