These articles tell my story my 21 year journey from an unqualified TEFL teacher to a reflective teaching practitioner through a PGCE and EAL/SENCO qualifications. I am now a coordinator in lower primary who mentors younger teachers and am embarking on yet another journey, my MA in Education. I share my experiences in the hope that is of some help to younger teachers working in EAL contexts who wish to engage in reflective practice.
