COURSE PRESENTATION
The purpose of the training course “Keep Calm and Control Pressure” is to provide neurologists, intensivists, and neurointensivists with the essential knowledge and skills to manage blood pressure crises in patients with acute stroke, where rapid and effective control can significantly impact patient outcomes. This training addresses the management of both acute ischemic stroke and acute intracerebral hemorrhage according to the latest ESO guidelines, while also covering related acute neurological. These scenarios highlight the critical role of hemodynamic control in complex neurological emergencies.
The use of simulation in this course represents a powerful and safe approach to giving neurologists, intensivists, and neurointensivists hands-on experience in managing these high-stakes situations within a realistic yet controlled environment. Through this immersive simulation-based training, participants will develop their crisis management abilities, refine their clinical decision-making skills, and ultimately improve patient safety and neurological outcomes
In summary, simulation-based training in blood pressure management for stroke patients is an invaluable strategy to elevate patient safety, optimize clinical care, and foster ongoing professional development among neurologists, intensivists, and neurointensivists.
