President Trump nominated Lindsey Freeman to the Middle District of North Carolina. Freeman worked as a corporate attorney, held multiple roles in the first Trump Department of Justice, and most recently was a federal prosecutor.
Roles in the First Trump Administration
Freeman served as both counsel and chief of staff in Trump’s Office of Legal Policy from 2017-2020. From 2020-2021, she was Deputy Associate Attorney General.
Freeman worked as a corporate attorney at law firm O’Melveny & Myers from 2012-2017 and has been a federal prosecutor in North Carolina from 2021-present.
