Two weavers in action
We come from Argentina and Zimbabwe—two nations where hyperinflation, political shocks, polarization and sudden donor withdrawals are the norm. We learned early to maintain two budgets: one in local currency eroding by the day, another in stable dollars for international partners. This isn’t exotic “mental-model agility”—it’s crisis muscle memory. We’ve seen and supported clinics stay open despite empty pharmacies, teachers relocate classes under trees when schools housed flood victims, and neighbors barter essentials without waiting for a policy memo.

Connect with weavers working on challenges like yours
The Weavers Workshop isn’t just a space to connect—we help you grow your own bag of tricks so you can strengthen weaving in your own community, with your people, in your own way.
Translocal Network:
We’ve worked with weavers in Zimbabwe, Argentina, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Nepal —and seen firsthand how local trust sparks real solutions.
Hands-On Pilots:
In Brazil, we piloted approaches to bridge ideological divides—legislators, community actors, academics, public officials, private sector associations—and helped them co-create paths to solve problems communities care about.
Curated Convenings with Global Influence:
Small gatherings (Morocco → Moldova → Malawi → Mongolia meeting at the World Bank) revealed shared weaving strategies and led to coordinated knowledge work & new narratives.
Learning by Doing:
From global to regional organizations to young Latin American grassroot activists and municipal bureaucrats, we test, listen, and refine—always respectful, never extractive.
