I love Access Humboldt because it plays a vital role in strengthening our community through transparency, inclusion, and education. I value how it holds local institutions accountable by making government meetings accessible to everyone, and how it empowers everyday people to share their stories and perspectives.
I’m especially proud of the media we produce and showcase. Locally made content reflects the voices and values of Humboldt County. Our Education 8 channel features programming from local educators that supports learning for all ages, and our community producers have created award-winning shows that highlight everything from culture and art to public policy. Access Humboldt doesn’t just distribute media. It helps build a smarter, more connected, and more democratic community.
