All South Range Students have a Chromebook Available for use.

Chromebooks that have expired per Google's auto update policy which sets a timeline for Auto Update Expiration (AUE) : 901

Chromebooks set to expire in 2023: 18

Chromebooks not expiring in two years or more: 1115

Auto Update Expiration does not mean the Chromebook is no longer usable. However, it does mean that the Chromebook may not be usable for state testing.

It all depends on where updates have stopped for the Chrome Operating System (OS) and whether or not state software is supported at that version.

For example, a Chromebook may stop updates at version 96. The Chromebook is still usable for most tasks, however, if an application requires OS version 105, the Chromebook may not work correctly.

For state testing, the application will probably fail to launch.
