UNDERSTANDING DIGITAL MARKETING

Digital  marketing is a method of advertising a company’s goods or services  online through apps, sites, social media and search engines. This form  of marketing focuses on reaching consumers through their phone, laptop,  or any other smart device.  

Digital marketing is an ever-evolving field. Billions of people actively use the  internet, and because of that, marketing has shifted from traditional  commercial ads, billboards and paper ads to web-based approaches.  


About Your Instructor, Victoria Lambert


Victoria Lambert is finalizing a Masters of Science in Family and Marriage Counseling. She received her Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration in 2021. And she earned her  Bachelors in 2016, majoring in Strategic Communications, emphasizing Public Relations and minoring in Business Management from the University of South Alabama. 


She currently serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications for ACCEL Academy. Victoria is currently ACCEL's Middle School head basketball coach. 

She previously was the Director of Student Activities for Coastal Alabama Community College Bay Minette, Fairhope and Gulf Shores Campuses. Prior to her career at Coastal, she served as the Student Success Coach/ Advisor, and assisted with the development of the enrollment management plan at Bishop State Community College. St. Paul's middle school girls head basketball coach for 4 years. 


Victoria Lambert is a proud wife and mother. She is a native of Montgomery, Alabama where she graduated for George Washington Carver High School.
